Luka Jurinović, PhD

The principal investigator and the project EpicGulls team leader. He is involved and responsible for data collection, analysis and quality of research. Also, he is a mentor to PhD students.

Sanja Duvnjak, PhD

Investigator of antimicrobial resistance of isolated bacteria. She is involved in the molecular part of the bacteriological analysis and in identifying genes responsible for antimicrobial resistance.

Marina Mikulić, PhD

She is responsible for the bacteriological analysis of the samples, from preparation until final results. Following the analyses, she will process, interpret, and disseminate results.

Silvija Šoprek, MD

Department of Clinical Microbiology University Hospital for Infectious Diseases “Dr. Fran Mihaljević”.

Biljana Ječmenica, mag. oecol. et prot. nat.

As a PhD student, she is involved in organizing and conducting fieldwork. She is responsible for analysing bird movement data and bacterial sample analysis and processing.

Louie Thomas Taylor, mag. biol. exp.

Experienced bird ringer and field worker. He is assisting in catching gulls, ringing and tagging.

 

Sanjin Hadžalić, mag. biol. exp.

Experienced bird ringer and field worker. He is assisting in catching gulls, ringing and tagging. Also, keeps this website up-to-date.
